Welcome Back, Pako Ayestarán

By: Cesar | June 25th, 2009

Saw this while writing my Raul Albiol post from earlier today.

Guess who is back? Pako Ayestarán, Rafa Benitez’s right hand man during the title years, most recently with Benitez at Liverpool.

He’s back!

Ayestaran worked with Benitez since their time together at Tenerife and was instrumental in planning daily training at Melwood, Liverpool’s training ground, and organizing the physical work and fitness training of the team.

He’ll be back as the assistant coach and physical director of the club.

Great move by VCF in bringing back not only a well-noted physical trainer, but a man who is a direct link to our glory seasons of the early ’00’s …

Great to have you back, mate!

De Laurentiis famous memorabilia: :) [no comment]

Defiant in his tyranny, De Laurentiis has said his unhappy stars can go to England if they don’t like it in Naples, but believes there may be nasty consequences: “If they want to go to England then in the end they’re going to go, but they need to understand this: the English live badly, eat badly and their women do not wash their genitalia. To them, a bidet is a mystery.”

    @ El Rey.

I know Guiza was good at Mallorca. I can’t argue with that. But he was crap last year. Really crap. Sometimes players can’t return to their former ways after bad season. Their confidence is lost. Also, his wife is a MASSIVE SLUT, and I’m sure he is constantly thinking about who she is banging.

If you don’t know about Guiza’s wife, Nuria Bermúdez, read this… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuria_Berm%C3%BAdez

    @ El Rey.

If you has read my earlier post, you would know that I think looking at Guiza’s stats are pointless. From my earlier post:

“GUIZA HAS BEEN HORRIBLE WITH FENERBAHCE!!! Don’t even look at his stats last year. It was one of those years that it doesn’t matter how many goals he scored, his body language and overall play was BAD.”

sorry there mate :) But i already opened the beer so i gotta drink it anyways ;)

    @ Kyle, El Rey
I know Guiza at Mallorca scored so many goals but im not a fan of him, i’d rather not have Valencia buy him. About his wife, who cares, if he doesnt agree with her being a slut than he should get a divorce! If he agrees, he shouldnt be bitching :P Nothing for us to discuss…

    @ Johnnie

I agree about his wife, but he has to be constanly destracted by her. Seriously, in every game with Fenerbahce this year, he looked like he was about to cry. I’m not trying to be funny. I’m being serious. He looked so misreable. I’m sure part of it is being in Turkey and not Spain, but he just looked sad and depressed.

Goal.com is SO SHIT! Superdeporte (and I) reported yesterday on the Marchena to Greece story. Goal.com didn’t report it until today, when MARCA wrote about it… They seriously never even look at Valencian papers…

He has been looking like that all his life my friend, seriously he has always had a sad face, looking like a drunk! With that face he managed to score 27 goals in 37 games haha, so let him look sad (but i agree, i dont like him either, also due to his sad looks)

He was introduced as “the greatest promise in Spain”, but also “the greatest party-goer” when he first joined Ciudad de Murcia. His then coach Juan Manuel Lillo stated that he had “too many birds flying round in his head”. – Dani Guiza. From the looks of it, i wouldnt say that ahahaha

    @Kyle….
Some sites get news late. You cant blame them.
I’ve reported some rumours before they broke elsewhere in previous times.
Thats why you shouldnt focus on one site like Goal.coms dependence on Marca

Wow, seems like a rabid Barca fan hacked onto EL Guaje’s personal website in order to convey this message: “Por dios Villa, a qué espera un jugador de tu clase a venir al mejor equipo del mundo? Te esperamos crack :) Soy un simple aficionado al F.C.Barcelona fan de Villa”. http://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/pirata-informatico-viste-barca-web/dasftb/20090629dasdasftb_45/Tes

Totally suprising to me, Germany becomes sub21 European champions after a 4-0 (!) against England.

    Congratulations!

The third youth title this season after sub17 and sub19. Wow. Glad to see nice football being played in Germany again!
