Odd – every single contact, even the European ones, ALL USE GMAIL as an address. Without exception. Now, I use Gmail, it’s a mighty fine email tool, but why do NONE of these list a different address, such as one ending with mascontractors.net or .com? After all he does apparently have an @mas-contractors.com address, according to the other source.

Out of interest, on the map, I clicked on Europe on that map: all are in Italy, with one in Belgium and one in Malta. So then I used http://www.archive.org which allows you to see a snapshot of a website at it looked in the past. I had a look at what the contacts page looked like on mascontractors.net back in November 2007, just a year and a half ago:

Not only did they have branches in Sweden but the HEAD OFFICE and registered address was not the Italian one given now but one in Dublin, Ireland, which now appears to have gone. This was, furthermore, the only one to show a mascontractors.net email address, info@mascontractors.net – all the other branches needed to use Gmail.

So what happened to Mas Contractors,

who are shown on the net as having the same address and phone number?

Of course, companies come and go, but normally when a company folds, they take their phone number with them. How come this company, same address, keeps the old MAS number?

And if they are the same company, why does McCann and Associates not want to have anything to do with MAS as they did in 2007.

(Bizarrely, there’s another company in Ireland, http://www.mccann.ie/ also calle McCann & Associates, but appears to have nothing to do with the other McCann, as far as I can tell)

Does MAS stand for Mccann & ASsociates?

Whatever or whoever, the address and phone number in Drumcondra is given as MAS’s former registered HQ on that Archive page listed above.

Could McCann be at the top of a large pyramid, and has since distanced themselves, with all these minor companies in smaller countries investing and giving returns to the ones higher up, (dare I say, Ponzi-style?), for it all to go tits-up in the end when they run out of investors and suddenly the company folds while all the upper tiers of the pyramid keep their latest investments?

Who knows. I’m not saying that. But because this DALPONT company is so mysterious, with no previous web presence, and stolen drawings from kids’ colouring-in books as their logo, yet somehow have enough capital in these difficult times to magic up 500 million, you can’t blame the conspiracy theorists.

Personally, I think that Dalpont is the newly appointed Spanish branch of MAS. The people who recruited them are Uruguayans. The people who recruited the Uruguayans are the Senegalese. And all the way back to Italy and, further back still, to Dublin. Dalpont are possibly already recruiting some two-bit company in Tonga to feed the next tier, who in turn will be the saviour of the local cricket team or whatever.

Obviously, pure conjecture on my part

I’m very tempted to ring up that Dublin number and ask for Mas Contractors, but I want to find out more first.

Ahhh, bless. Things can’t be good on his step on the pyramid. The ladder must be getting shaky. Let’s hope he doesn’t fall and tumble on Valencia CF on his way down…..
