Valencia CAMPEONES!

So after all that, we did it … 2007-08 Copa Del Rey champions and in impressive fashion, in what was a wonderful game to watch for Valencia fans.

I admit it. I am a bit tipsy at the moment. But can you blame me??

What a season! What a celebration!!

Thanks to all who made it to the bar to watch it with me … there were about 10 of us cheering Valencia on and it made for a festive atmosphere in a place that is usually a haven for Madrid and Barca fans … thanks to everyone for their warm messages throughout the day … and thanks to the players for making us proud .. ENJOY EVERYONE!!! AMUNT VALENCIA!!!! This one will feel good for some time … let’s enjoy … :)

  AMUNT VALENCIA!!! Awesome time at Nevada’s with a sizeable Valencia contingent. Great game by our team today, Copa del Rey had our name on it this year, given the drastic difference between league and cup performances. I was just looking at the league standings.. although we’re in 16th right now, if we beat Bilbao, we could finish the weekend as high as 10th.

  I think we need another 2 or 3 wins (one of which against Zaragoza) to make sure we’re safe. After that, it’s rebuilding for next season, replacing Villa and Silva, reinforcing the backline, backup for Timo…

  Worth getting up at 3am to watch it. The first chance at goal of the game and it was a Villa-Silva-Mata beauty. Then Alexis’s goal within 10 mins. Timo saved our asses a couple of time too. And Moro’s goal to seal the deal at the right time, what a fantastic feeling for us fans.

  The boys did what they had to do. AMUNT VALENCIA!!!

  Now don’t get relegate. OK boys.

  I read today that we’re making a move for Seedorf, who’ll leave AC Milan once Ronaldinho heads there. If this goal.com dribble is true, that’ll be friggin awesome. Seedorf is amazing, our youngsters in midfield could learn loads from him
