Baraja looked his old self. Gavilan looked like he could be a threat this season. Joaquin, Silva and of course Villa looked as awesome as ever. Then came yesterday. Very disappointing to see Valencia drop in quality so much. For me, the defence was very poor again. Moretti and Marchena seem to have lost it recently. Helguera looked good against Inter, but I am still hoping to see Alexis and Albiol as the defensive pairing for next season. Hopefully a new left back will come sooner rather than later.
