Not convinced on Banega loan him out to Racing or Recre he is kinda careless with the ball, they put him in the final throws in the olympic gold match and he had three turnovers plus some missed passes. looked kinda weak out there. give hima chance sure but he does not hustle and is no way a defensive mid. Gago hustles and banega is no where on that same level.

Don’t give Benaga away to anyone. This boy has potential to be one of the best if he’s given a chance. I’ve seen him with Boca (his developing stage but was able to get first place in front of Battaglia who…is also very good.) And if Banega can play the way he did in Canada when Argentina won the Youth World Cup 2007, our midfield will be solid again.

Give Banega a chance Unai!

I agree Kuku. Baraja should be a substitute only at this stage and i personally feel that banega and maduro can and should be used but i guess Emery is taking the experience route to stabalize stuff in the squad. As you can see in the backline no experience equates to no leader and finally no order.

I said it before too but we need to kick Baraja and Albelda out. Albelda might have some playing years in him but after all that drama it just doesnt seem right to have him on the pitch. Baraja – I havnt been convinced by him for the past 2 seasons let alone this one. Edu – we need not bother..he will get himself injured.

(I hope) There is a reason why Banega and Maduro loan deals have not been finalized – Emery wants to see them in action and is not entirely convinced by Baraja+Albelda.

Yes, I would definitely put Albelda to bench, and give Fernandes a chance. I believe he would be much better because he need to show his potential, which he surely has. I mean, anybody would play better than Albelda yesterday. And, if it’s true that his going out, lets give Banega a chance. I don’t know why, but I have some feeling that he’s great young fighter, who only needs to grow further, and became one of the best defensive mids. And where he’ll grow better than here, in Valencia??

The second half was an outright funeral procession, only candles were missing. If I was Emery I’d put the entire first squad on the bench and played the first match against Mallorca with Valencia’s teen squad. Maybe they could show them what fighting means. And will someone already KICK THE FUCK Albelda out of the squad?!? (excuse my French) Just give him away to the first one who passes Mestalla by chance…

it looks like Albelda may be going to Portsmouth… that would explain his disappearing act yesterday, (why fight for a club your leaving?)at lest this could mean a place in the team for a more committed younger player like Banega or Maduro.
