Hallo, Well the result was 4-2 to the German team. This is their 7th win on the trot, the last was 2-1 against Feyenoord a couple of days ago.
The first half opened with Hilde/Del Horno/Alexis/Miguel/D. Navarro/ Fernandes/Baraja Pablo/Angulo/Vicente and Zigic.
The Germans were pushing strongly from the start with 4 corners in 5 mins and the first goal came from them by FRIEND a very clever and strong player. Valencia got into the swing of things a little more but were always dominated by the German side (at home and with a German ref must have helped) However a good pass from Angulo gave Zigic the chance to head a goal, it was a good goal but I did not see Zigic do anything else useful. Of course the usual happened and Borussia scored again 2 mins. later, this was largely a result of Hilde coming late out of the goal and it was popped over his head.
They scored the 3rd goal in the 45th min.
2nd part 9 new players, Guaita for Hilde, Alexis and Del Horno stayed in then Lomban/Helguera/Edu/Abelda/Morientes/Joaquin /Arizmendi
and Mata. Much the same as before Valencia had 1 corner
and I think Borussia must have had 15. However Mata scored in minute 79 then Borussia made it 4-2 in min.
82, Albiol came on and the game was stopped even before 90 mions came on the clock. There were a few nasty fouls from both sides but not one card was given. I wouldnt keep Navarro in the team, he hasnt learnt his lesson with his 6 months suspension, normally he would have got a card 3 times. Well that’s it, it sounds bad but it was a good match and Borussia were an excellent side. Of course Emery changing 9 out of 11 players doesnt help,but I admire his courage to do this because thats what friendly games are for at this stage, not to win but to see all your players on the field and fans have got to see that..Adios, Newcastle next, Almendras

Hi, Just to remind you Valencia will be playing against Borussia at 3.30 pm Spanish time, it is on Canal 9.
There is supposed to be a firm offer for the commercial rights of the new stadium (Shows etc) by Arena for 300 million there is another offer of 350 million for the towers to be built on the Mestalla site. This has been offered before but at that time Soler did not see eye to eyr with the next shareholder (Soriano) so it did not go through. So if these two things go through now that is 650 million in the Kitty which will take the pressure of and let the team get on with football….Adios

im really sorry for Banega.. i really really want him to stay.. he is a better CM than fernandes i think…
yea Fernandes got the tricks and all, but Banega is better at tackling and getting the ball from opponents, Barca’s game at Camp Nou showed that..

Yes it really does make you feel thrilled doesn’t it? Seeing them smile and laugh, makes you feel like the tornado’s gone and everything’s fine. Hope it is…
I don’t think Eto’o would be a sensible addition to the squad. Valencia’s known for bringing in young talents to the squad and helping them grow (skills-wise). Frankly, Eto’o isn’t very, young, for a footballer now and plus his arrogance is just unbearable. I don’t think he could ever fit in Valencia.

I agree with Almendras, Eto’o might be a really good player but he is too arrogant, besides, i read somewhere that he wanted 9 million euros per season…. Who the hell does he think he is? I am completely against the transfer if we were to let David Silva go..
