Ricardo Costa lays down the QQ instead of the PewPew

So Ricardo Costa is miffed that he isnt being played. He recently had an interview in Portugal here is the jist of it translated to english.
The Portuguese international, 30, said about a news article about him being offered to Español.
“I didn’t want to believe it when I saw it [the story]. It is ridiculous. It is a lie and I think Valencia will deny it. What`s more, I hope they do so before I go back after the international break because it will show they don’t say one thing to me and another to other people.”
“If this news is true then he would have offered Espanyol the chance to buy me and that didn’t happen. He is the same person who stopped me going to Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus a month ago. He said then I was an important player for the squad and that I was one of the captains. It is him I believe and not ridiculous and sensational news.”
He later added when asked about his lack of playtime sice being subbed off at halftime in Valencia’s first match.
“Firstly, you must remember I was substituted when the team had let in two goals with me on the pitch, so when Racing scored their third I wasn’t there. Secondly, I remember the game well and don’t remember playing alone.
“Was it Valencia that let the two goals in or was it Ricardo Costa? I played in the first half and Racing continued to create chances in the second. Also, there have been games when we could have let in as many if not more than we did against Racing, and I wasn’t on the pitch.”
When asked if he beleived Emery has lost confidence in him:
“I honestly don’t understand this story and don’t believe the Coach has lost confidence in me. In fact, I’ve don’t know if he has confidence in me or not because I’ve not spoken to him about it to ask him, “he added.”
So there ya have it. Ricardo calling the Whaaambulance.
But really what did he expect. After all sincehis has been benched the Defence has clicked. Why would Emery throw a wrench into the machine once its finally working and risk the wrath of this blogs readers.

Piatti has been too quiet and needs to get a few goals to boost confidence and help out Soldado. But he should be given time to settle before anyone gets on his back. He’s taken a step up and what his previous set of fans saw as a good performance isnt going to be seen as a good performance by Valencia fans. Hi Lillo……I would like to say something in defence of Piatti. First of all I wasn’t in favour of signing him as he was so tiny and we have enough of shorties already, thank God for Rami. But when he started playing I could see what a good asset he could be with his burst of speed that leaves the defence on their back leg, and he was clever with it.The trouble is they know this now and they go for the body not the ball and he is brutally brought down
generally on the Ref’s blind side ! You watch the next game for this, unless it has only been bad up till now.
Once you have hit the ground 3 times in a short period of time and narrowly missed a bad injury, some of the steam goes out of your football -
@Almendras Im wondering though, why do you mind a shortie in that position? Its not like wingers usually need to be tall for heading or stuff like that. In fact i think its about the only spot on the pitch where height really doesnt matter.
I actually favor short wingers as they usually turn and accelerate a lot quicker, which is a larga part of a wingers job.
As for the defending part, that what defenders do. Defenders generally adopt a more Machiavellian approach to the game and will stop him in any way that works well. Piatti needs to learn in that aspect to either evade stuff like that or convert it into proper fouls when they do it.
Now he stumbels at stuff thats usually to light to get a foul for and sufficient to get him out of the match.
