Sorry Jose, if players have to go the Vicente has to be one of them,we cant afford this passenger any longer as good as he is when around. His appearances added together this year add up to 7 games out of 38 with somewhat similar results in previous years.Get a good price or a good swap.Regueiro(Murcia) and Gavilan(Getafe)
are on loan and play left wing.We have other players on loan and they could be put to good use now that money is tight.Fernandes has been with Everton sub-Koeman and has performed well enough, lets use him. He certainly did not get a shot in Valencia. If you want to build up defense,Racing have a brilliant guy in Garay 21 years and 6ft 2. He’s Argentinian and will be a contender for Ayalas place. This closing season with the Champions,Copa,Liga,and National Team, we had 2 games every week for about 3 months. That is what the TV has done to football nowadays. We therefore MUST have 11 reserves fit and ready to play.I have read here that we have about 40 on the books, well they have to be sorted.
Sold or swapped so we can put a new face on the new season (and are we lucky to be there after the Koeman factor)………Lets hope someone sees sense in the Club

Daniel- yeah, thats how Barca works. It seems to turn out to be a great system for most clubs that do it.

Well it could be that since Banega hasnt played much we figure we could get back 17 million instead of losing Silva or Joaquin.. frankly thats a sacrifice i would accept as losing Silva and Joaquin would be a much greater loss.

Today Man U made a tentative offer for Miguel. I personally think Miguel is a very solid Right Back.. and if we dont have a replacement our defence will continue to suffer.. Caniera also is hinting at leaving.. not as big a loss. But still who do we replace him with.

its all good to say we are selling players but who will fill their spots.. we are a team that constantly struggles with injuries. Who will cover Vicente when a fly lands on his knee and knocks him out for 6 weeks? Who will fill in for Morientes when trying to score he heads the post instead of the ball? Who will cover for Baraja when he dies of old age?

Im worried.. i have hope but i am worried. I think that next year we will be int he top half again but i do think that if we dont pull out some very impressive management we may not play in europe.

I also think that this “financial crisis” may actually be.. Soler wants some money before he sells his shares. He is a greedy fat bastard. And he is the head of a greedy fat bastard group of shareholders.. i would love to see the people of valencia or teh city buy the team. For now its only a dream that one day the fans will controll the club.

Your both right but thats typical valencia this season paying 18 million euros and then discarding the player i’d stick with him. Im really beginging to worry about our finances because it really does seem like an exodus is about to occur stormy seas ahead, really am interested to see the valencia squad next season don’t want to become the lazio of spain.

I concur Daniel. We paid 18 mill for Banega and he has shown the ability to become a special player–why would we get rid of him? The drunken sexcapades aside, he’s a great, young player. As Daniel said, they’re young; these things happen. That said, we should give him one more shot, which would hopefully deter him from hitting the bottle and gettin behind the wheel.
