Raul Albiol: La Puta Madre

By: Cesar | June 25th, 2009

I wish Raul Albiol all the best on his adventure with Real Madrid.

I’ve given the local valenciano lots of flack during his tenure with VCF, what with his 20+ own goals and weekly defensive gaffs.

The truth is that he’s a valuable player and will probably continue to grow with Madrid, provided he gets an opportunity to play.

One thing that we do know is that he’s going to Madrid kicking and screaming and he’s not too happy about it.

Have a look at this interview that occurred days before the Spanish national team left for South Africa and the Confederations Cup, according to local paper Superdeporte.

Interviewer (I): Raul, are you aware that Real Madrid want you?
Raul (R): And what do you want me to say to that? I have to go? You want to know the truth?
I: Sure …
R: If I finally do have to leave Valencia, I do so in disgust, have no doubt of that. I’m from Valencia and valencianista since I was a little kid. All my life I dreamed of playing for VCF and with all the bad stuff that’s happened the last few months, you think that I want to leave? If I go it’s because there’s no other choice and the club asked me to …

I wish Raul the best. Personally.
I hope he scores some own goals for Madrid.

Good luck, Raul. You’re going to need it.

I’m a bit shocked that Valencia would sell him to our rival since he is a Valencianista at heart, but who knows what goes on with our top management.
Well, good luck Raul. It’d be nice if you would score some(own) goals FOR us when both Valencia & R.Mierda meet in upcoming matches. By doing so, we will know that you always have us at heart :-)

Good luck Raul. Thank you for everything. Mixed feelings for me. His form had been so-so. Could have been great with us but now we’ll never know. But I love the way he always wear his heart on his sleeve for Valencia. Always. I’m sure he’ll be back.

consider it a long term loan. If he is that valencianista then when he is 28 29 he will come back cheap
