OUTSTANDING

Well if you missed yesterdays game.
Boooooo on you.
You missed a fine display of what our attack can do when it is on.
It was quick.
It was accurate and ultimately it was Lethal.
Villa scores twice.. and should have had a hat trick had it not been for bad reffing. Silva gets one too and hey Mata as well. Why not.
Silva started the show in the 10th minute recieving a cross from Mata, a header that sneaked in past Jacobo. Up to that moment Valencia had not really been showing how dangerous they were then suddenly
boom.. gol.
Aleman by far the most impressive player on the Valladolid side would level the playing field in the 30th minute after Moya was unable to control the ball after a shot, the rebound was blasted into the netting.
Pablo who had been tearing up the right wing broke free and found Villa who as usual was a Maravilla scoring a lovely gol and restoring Valencia’s lead a mere 4 minutes later.
Valencia’s midfield was excellent with Banega playing a solid passing game. Just before the half Valencia would create a gorgeous counter attack with Banega finding an open Mata who tore out from midfield to direct the ball through Jacobo’s legs and give Valencia a 1-3 lead.
The second half saw a few changes with Albelda comming on in place of the sanctioned Marchena who had been having a solid game in midfield. It did slow the play down a notch but he played a solid enough game overall.
The ref and linesman would deny Villa a gol which was clearly onside when the pass was made. But he would not have to wait long for revenge.
In the 55th minute Villa would break the offside trap and add 1 more to his tally.
Valladolid would get a consilation gol in the 66th minute but that would be the game .
Valladolid 2 – 4 Valencia
All in all a very good performance.
Moya did a solid job.. one flub. But overall i like him alot.
The defence on the left did look a bit shaky. Its clear neither Bruno nor Mathieu feel comfortable in the slot yet. I would work on Mathieu personally. I feel he is a great left bakc just needs to adjust to our team. He proved himself in France. Let him prove himself here.
The midfield was great. Mata and Pablo on the wings.. Brilliant. The pairing of Banega and Marchena was also brilliant. The co-operate alot and looked very comfortable. They also create alot more passes tot he attackers than Baraja Albelda ever did.
Silva and Villa. Well they are perfect.
Who wasnt elated when we heard they were staying. Lets all hope that we make Champions league and we will have these two for a long time to come.
AMUNT VALENCIA

Haha, “miss information” – winner of a beauty contest, and this after trying to rip Kyle for his “England” typo. I was berating the media, not you, but of course you have to try to sound like you know everything. Silva’s not going to your lame club – period.

…but Miku and Zigic aren’t clicking as a strike team.

@ Petez:
Joaquin is playing well and Maduro is playing MUCH better than NavarroPosted from

With Albelda on the mid our defense is very shaky, plus Michel can’t organize the play like Banega. Too bad Fernandes is injured.
And maybe Emery shouldn’t have to divide the players to team A and B, instead rotate 3-4-5 players for every match.

Rip Kyle for his English? He stated both Silva and Villa have said they want to stay in England. Thats not bad English, thats just a mistake. Like pretty much everything you type.

Wow, we’re playing so bad it is physically painful to watch. If we end up drawing, I’ll be very happy.
P.S You can see Villa seating on the bench looking at the game grimacing, thinking; “This is the team I’m sweating for? Shit…”

@Lloyd
the backline is really high though, Maduro hangs around the center circle when Valencia have possession, and has gotten outrun once or twice when Lille came forward.

I agree with you Jiwonsi… The Backline is WAY too high. don’t get me wrong, i think our defence in general is playing like rubbish. i just think Navarro is doin worse than Maduro for the most part

Yeah, it was a typo, of course he meant Spain instead of England – unlike our blatantly misspelled “missinformation”, genius. I’m not getting into this with you again.

good result for los che…lille is good and we can’t expect to beat them with our b team

We can be happy with the results …… we played so badly. But we had lots of luck! Lille plays fast forward and it was only when Banega and Mata into the game we got better. Bruno and Matheiu horrible ….. and Albelda, too.

This was one of the worst matches I’ve ever seen, so much so I hardly watched for the most part, but what I saw was terrible. We will belong in a B league if we keep this up…

When I say worst matches, I mean of course Valencia matches…
