Next Up: Bilbao

After the euphoria and ups and downs of midweek against Chelsea, our beloved Che are back for more action. With tired legs and minds wandering to the coming battle against Chelsea on Tuesday, Valencia travel to relegation-minded Athletic Bilbao.
Athletic have lost four of their last five matches and although they are only one point behind 17th-placed Celta and safety, the Basque side’s upcoming fixture list suggests a tough task to avoid falling out of La Liga for the first time in their history.
Including Valencia, Athletic have to play top-10 teams in six of their next seven games, with matches against Sevilla, Real Madrid and Zaragoza among them.
Coach Quique Sanchez Flores will look to shuffle the side ahead of the return leg next week, but has one player less to use after winger Vicente picked up a muscle injury on Wednesday. He’s expected to be out for 5 weeks. Quite a shame.
I expect Valencia to come out with a reshuffled lineup. Look for guys like Hugo Viana and Curro Torres to start in the place of Albelda and Miguel. I’d be surprised to see Villa starting, although I think we’ll see him at some point. Besides that, I expect a tired team. The match Wednesday took a lot out of us fans; imagine how they feel!
Bilbao is in trouble and they need the points. They’re just not a very good team these days. They don’t have many name players and are plodding along the league, losing a heartbreaker to Racing Santander 5-4 last week.
Prediction: Valencia 1 Athletic Bilbao 0
Don’t expect too much excitement out of this one. I really believe the team is tired. And the next few weeks see Real Madrid and Sevilla, on top of the Champions League semifinals (!!).
On we go …

yeah… sorri ur prediction is wrong…we could have won, or at least draw… There was one penalty missed by the referee, and Villa’s shot hit the crossbar (or something…I don’t know the English expression). Anyway, if could qualify to the next stage in ECC, today’s loss will be worthy. But if not…what a shame and a good chance to narrow the gap between barca…
Plus, if u can plz explain the meaning of amunt…I’m desperate for the meaning…I posted another one on ur blog somewhere…
