More Bad News: Villa to Madrid

By: Cesar | May 2nd, 2008

david_villa.jpgYou want more bad news?

You know, besides being near relegation, being in massive debt, having to offload our talent, etc??

According to MARCA and Goal.com, David Villa turned down an offer to join England’s Tottenham Hotspur to join … Real Madrid

UGGGGGH …

At least that’s where he wants to go …
MARCA says Madrid is offering 30 million Euros plus either Esteban Granero or Rubén De la Red …

I dunno. Read the articles above to get a better grip on the story. Goal.com says it’s unlikely, but something tells me it’s a lot closer to reality than we think.

Just imagine: Villa scoring against us in the Mestalla, kissing the Madrid badge …

Oh, this season is SUCH a nightmare. I can’t believe what’s happened to our club …
Ok, I understand we need to sell Villa … but to Madrid? Real Madrid??

Why? WHY? Uggh, I’m so disgusted with this team right now …

Let’s hope and pray this isn’t reality and just more rubbish rumor mill crap …

By the way, we play Barcelona this weekend.

Martin im talking about games of spanish national team or any final, our new stadium would be the first choice! nd thts a good source of money!

Good News- Soler rejected Madrid’s offer + player, but villa is certainly going! to tell you the truth, i would so sell villa to madrid if they payed 30 + million +drenthe! we need a left back tht is strong and has attacking genes in him and drenthe is a wow player!

    Fresh news,
1-sanches want Eimry of Almeria. First we want benits or scolari or morinho or sven erikson, then lundrup from getafe then marcilino then eimry then manzano, i think Baraja will be coaching valencia next season! since the coach choices are going from bad to worse!
2-Sanches says that only one quality player will leave not three, although in my opinion juaquin these days is a good player not a quality player! and i wouldn;t rank him as a player that has an influence such as villa or silva!
Sell villa and juaquin, get quarisma from porto and sell zigiz and all the guys on loan and get a good striker and a left bk and a center-back, and we will be ready to rock and roll in Uefa Cup… letts just hope Ac milan gets into the champions league so we wouldn;’t have to face them in Uefa!

IMO, if they wanna sell Villa, go ahead, I have already accepted that. But Joaquin and Silva should not leave, I think it will be stupid to sell players who have huge futures ahead of them. I am afraid of Silva leaving especially, he is attracting quite a number of clubs, Liverpool in particular. Jesus Navas is also an excellent left-winger but I am very sure that he will never leave Sevilla.

About our coach next season…what can I say, there is no use talking about who I wish to see next season because I am pretty sure the club will mess it up somehow. Who would wanna come coach in a club where it’s obvious that the management would interfere in coaching matters?

About the new stadium…well let us all hope it pays off handsomely. However I believe that the club will never entirely solve its problems until people like Juan Soler disappears.

Well Gee! Villa was on my summer shopping wishlist for Madrid. It was wishful thinking honestly! But what I know of El Guaje, he wants to stay in Spain. He doesn’t want to go abroad. I think all his experience with Zara and Valencia, especially the dressing room drama, will serve him well at Madrid. No confirmation yet, so I’ll believe it when I see it. But from a Madridista point of view, this could promising…

I think Villa should stay. Given the fact that he found his fame only after joining Valencia, the least he can do is show some club loyalty which, I find is horribly missing in the game these days.

rumor against silva & joaquin transfer now are going drown, except about Villa but there’s still any confirm deal about his price

all i hope now, if el Che get a maximum results in the last four games i hope a positive effect will induced to the financial club and there’s will be no controversial removal from Mestalla

I must admit: I have an unapologetic, asexual man crush on David Villa. Although I’ve resigned myself to the fact that he’s leaving this summer, I still don’t want to believe it. Regarding this summer, Barca is planning on signing all our transfer targets–well, they should be our targets–VDV, Lahm, etc. I wouldn’t mind swooping Rafa Marquez, although I don’t know if he’s available. I’m gonna throw out a player that people may not be talking about, but who we should pick up as a backup if nothing else: Roberto Soldado. As an Osasuna aficionado, I have seen him play numerous times and, when given the chance, he scores goals, which is why Real recalled him from Pamplona. But he hasn’t gotten any time in the Bernabeu this year, and he is very unhappy. Suffice it to say, he wants to leave. He is a talented, young striker, and although he shouldn’t be our main Villa replacement, he should be on our radar. We should pick him up as a strong replacement–his price tag might be small. Anyways, I digress; let’s beat the piss out of Barca in a few hrs. AMUNT.

well, Villa will leave,, whether we like it or not..
let’s hope not to a rival in liga.. if anyone wants him,, they should try 40Meuoros+ .. nothing else or we’ll be robbed.. and never to forget that Soler is Stupid,, so i don’t expect anything..

and a team like this doesn’t deserve to be in primera.. even doesn’t deserve from people to be fans to them..

they ask us to be loyal and supportive but they’re showing nothing..

Incredible.. this has to be the worst result I’ve seen in my 8 years supporting this club.. an amazing lack of urgency on the part of everyone barring Joaquin. Lets all join hands and pray that Recreativo lose all their remaining games. Summer can’t come soon enough, and I just pray that we’re in 17th or higher at that point

thank goodness madrid came back to beat Ososuna otherwise we would be closer still to relegation.

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what happens who they sell who they fire who they hang and drag through the streets they couldnt possibly do much worse than this season.

hell im gonna try out for the team cause the way they play i stand a chance.

Wow. Is this is a joke? I’m truly embarrassed. This has been the worst day of football in recent memory. Barca put up 6 goals–a true clinic–on our boys. Then, to top it off, Osa gave up up their one goal lead in the last five minutes to hand Real the league title on a silver platter, and now they’re close to relegation. JODER.

lool Messi is saying thts a good preperation for bernebue!!! listen poeple now Valencia are a prep team for barca! So now Barca comes and practices and beat our asses, to just prepare for the real team! why because we r not a team to be affraid of or even consider a team!!! The thing tht hurts is tht THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT AND THEY ARE RIGHT!!! FUCK THIS sell villa sell juaquin sell whoever they weana sell just bring a new squad! this squad is pathetic, i lost all respect for the players!

that’s a little harsh. i think they just gave up trying because they think they’re not going to be on this team anymore. but really, if they go on ahead and put up lousy performances like this for all the time that’s left, well, guess what? there’s nowhere to transfer to. they HAVE to stay!!! isn’t that great news?

Crappy performance both on and off the field this week….
Sell villa this summer and get some decent defensive squad to start with, this looks like nothing.

just pray we stay in la liga, and dont play uafa cup from segunda next year.

In terms of a realistic view, Valencia aren’t going to save themselves by playing Barcelona, but the other fixtures. Luckily La Liga doesn’t go by goal difference ahead of head-to-head results, otherwise Valencia’s plight would be very, very bad indeed.
