I love the fact that you are blogging daily Cesar. Class act. I watched the game on futbolsexta.com – UGGH. Not the best feed, but at least I got to watch the game. A tad boring, but 3 points is 3 points. Good on El Moro. But ashame that Villa got hurt. =(

John, the sad thing is that Timo lost his place in German national team. He has been out of the team since March.
I personally feel very sorry for him, even more than for Banega – Banega was at least loaned out.

Villa is injured.. Not playing against Osasuna.. yea.. welcome Injuries.. i’ve always questioned the fitness guys and the medical team.. my friend told me he heard that on Radio..

good thing it’s Osasuna.. Moro should do good on Sunday too..

Kuku, unfortunately politics seems to still be an important factor in deciding who plays for Valencia. The Germany coach and national set up says Timo is one of the best German keepers and have returned Timo to the national team. But because Timo didn’t involve himself in last seasons war against Soler and Koeman. “technical” decisions are preventing him from being included in Valencia’s match day squads.

Dina to me the defense did ok Renan hhad his usual problems seeing the ball and positioning himself. Helguera did fall at random or do any of his usual stupidness. and del Horno or Miguel didn’t make any major mistakes. all and all together those five prevented Maritimo from having any clear cut scoring opportunities which is all you can ask from a makeshift defensive unit like that.

Hmm..not a bad win. But I thought the defense was terrible. Absolutely terrible.
Couldn’t watch the whole match, but until what I saw, we REALLY need to improve our defense.

I hate the drama regarding Timo..I thought we got rid of all that bullshit with Soler and dispute between QQ – Carboni.
Timo is a German national team goalkeeper (or has been) and holds a Bundesliga record for clean sheet – we should show him some respect.

I’d say Valencia are the favourites for the UEFA Cup (at least until the CL teams come in. Either them, Sevilla or Man City. AC Milan need a new coach to do it.

Great job with the streak Cesar. Since Valencia isn’t in the Champions League this year should we root for our good old neighbours Villareal? Held their own well against the defending champions last night, and Franco almost scored what would have been the best goal of the CL so far
