As George pointed out, he can score three goals per season. But he can also hit the post three times per match. I desperately wish for a change in luck for him or… I wouldn’t want to imagine the consequences.

As for Alexis, I believe he is presented today. It’s finally official. I can’t wait for Timo to present.

I hope another year’s failing to win any trophy to finally make up Soler’s mind to fire Quique and bring some top-level coach, at least someone with proper ability to judge players. But he seems perfect pleased with Quique this year.

Well, I saw Arizmendi’s playing in a couple of matches only, but from what I saw, I can fairly say he is a professional player in hunting the posts. He wasn’t as versatile as angulo, but as Cesar said, he is good at the right side, where Juaquin usually advances from the midfield. Arizmendi sounds like a new Corradi, who can score three goals per season. However, I hope he would turn me wrong, and achieve the impossible.

I’m not too excited about Arizmendi joining Valencia considering I think that he is a mediocre player. Plus, the fact that he is a fascist doesn’t make me too happy. Don’t let the fact that Valencia haven’t made a big signing, a la Henry, get you down. We already have some pretty big names that people would love/pay big money to have on their team such as Villa, Silva, Joaquin, etc. I think we’ll have an average campaign next season for every reason that Isaiah was kind enough to point out

Cesar, I don’t rate Arizmendi. He’s a step down in my opinion. Hopefully he will become a super sub. Diego Forlan? Hmmm. well he does play well in La Liga. Maybe? I am more excited about him than Arizmendi.

Did we get Alexis for the back? We need two to replace Ayala and asap.

To be honest, Cesar, I’m not really into the new Henry signing. I was happy with looking at Chivu and Toure, but Henry? Please. It smacks of galactico-ism and it disgusts me.

Valencia will be good next year, as always. They’re a solid club and their coach is actually pretty good, if not top-notch. With Joaquin continuing to improve, Villa being Villa, and Cañi avoiding the glass shards, there’s little to suggest a dip in form for next year. It’s just that Real Madrid looks good enough to repeat and Barcelona (while continuing to whine for another year (sigh) about lame crap) will pound out the wins thanks to our ridiculous budget.
