(In fact I would have liked to be at ALL of Valencia’s matches of the 1998-1999 season; watching them on TV, it was clear that something extraordinary was going on in La Liga.) Mendieta’s goal in the 33rd minute made him a household name in Spain, Luis Milla added a feather to his cap, and Valencia became a force to be reckoned with.

3.) One scoreline you wish you could reverse for your favorite team? 3-0 Real Madrid v. Valencia in the 2000 Champion’s League Final, as it would have been one less trophy for Madrid.

Ali, to your second point…

I dont like Koeman as the man in charge of the squad. He is in a results based business and he has not produced results. Our Champions League chances are slipping away with each and every point. He(Koeman) has not produced, improved results or changed the club to move up the table. He should be fired.
