Juan Soler to Leave Today?

juan-soler.jpgIf we’re to believe Spanish bird cage liner MARCA, also known as ‘Real Madrid Daily’, Juan Soler could leave his position as club president as early as today.

As much as I want him to leave (and I do), if it’s for health-related reasons I’d be pretty sad. Apparently Soler’s very sick and that’s why he’s been away from the Mestalla.

There’s a council meeting today where Soler could present his resignation as club president. Wow … what an upheaval, eh?

If he leaves, Vicente Soriano, the second-highest shareholder could take over.

More on this later when more is known.

Again, if Soler leaves because of health reasons, let’s hope the man gets better.
He tried to do the best he could with the club. Unfortunately, he’s not the most talented president. Maybe this is a chance for a new voice to emerge in the Valencia CF board room.

Let’s see what happens today … As The Mestalla Turns …
