Hi, Valencia news from Fridays papers after my weekly shopping jaunt down from the mountains.Butelle is destined for Nice, Newcastle is interested in Zigic. Mourinho is said to want Joaquin for Inter and Valencia are asking 15 million. Still no news if Abelda is staying or going.Hildebrand wants to stay but Valencia are interested to bring in Palop,(which wont cheer up Timo) No news of the price or Seville’s opinion on this.
Subject to buying and sellings (Miguel is still a controversy)Subject to all this Emery has given a back line of Miguel, Albiol, Marchena and Moretti
Midfield, Alexis, Helguera.D.Navarro and Del Horno with the possibility of Marchena playing mediocentro.

yeah, it is a goal dot com story after all. i agree, that 35 mill plus De La Red deal is looking better and better. i don’t want him to stay in spain, but if that’s the best deal, then so be it. i can’t imagine that chelsea or arsenal won’t pony up 40 mill for villa. he’s relatively young and just clinical in the box. damn’t i don’t want him to leave. ok, on to the spain blog.

javier.i live an hour and a half from valencia ciudad,i might meet up once the season starts,late kick offs screw me cos i cant get home.have to tell you though im a miserable old git with a nice pair of tits ( for a bloke ) and a deep suspicion of people that appear friendly on the net but turn out to be ravin nutters in real life.i fall over when i drink and ive got touretts syndrome.im a typical millwall fan,but without the sense of humour.

I know what you mean Tim, but never fear.. it is a Goal.com report after all. I will be truly pissed if Villa is sold for anything less than 35 mil euros though, unless quality players like De la Red are thrown in (God forbid, I still don’t want him to go to Madrid)

saw carboni today at valencia airport.i.was reading a book in a shop and glanced up and there he was ( furtivley reading a self help book,how to sucseed in managment.)¨ hey abuelo¨i said,and that was it,he smiled and sort of glided away.cant blame him,ive been on a bender in formentera for a week and must of looked like an extra from lord of the rings.

IFHHS issued their world club rankings today, putting Barcelona at 4th and Real Madrid and Valencia tied at 36th. As much as I despise Real Madrid, even I’d admit that we were not on par with them by any stretch of the imagination… unless conceding a goal against Arizmendi counts for -100 in whatever points system they use for this ranking.
