Game Tonight, But Who Cares?
By: Cesar | August 29th, 2007
There’s a game on tonight, a Champions League qualifier against Elfsborg.
But I could care less. As much as I love Valencia, I still can’t wrap my head around what happened to Sevilla’s Antonio Puerta.
What a sudden, shocking loss. In the midst of life, in the beginning of his career. To be felled like this, to succumb so quickly and publicly, it’s so unfair.
So I don’t really have much to say today. I wish our club good luck tonight. We should advance with no problems. More on the game tomorrow.
My thoughts go out to Puerta’s family, to his friends and to the man himself.
May he rest in peace.
Hasta siempre, campeón

I know how you feel. I’m upset with Barca that we are not cancelling the Gamper, this is not the right time.

May his soul rest in peace. He gave his all for Sevilla, and never complaint from pressures. A real worrior.

Such a sad outcome to such a promising young man. My heart goes out to his family may his unborn child grow up to know the champion that his father truly was.
