Madrid have better defenders and better midfielders, we are just about even with them in terms of forwards Higuain - Mata, Moro - Raul, van Nistelrooy - Villa, Angulo - Saviola. We can beat Madrid at the Mestalla no doubt but winning at the Bernabeu without Real's directors and coach being at each others throat will be extremely hard. Only if the infighting at Madrid was to last the whole season, would Valencia be able to win La liga and not even Calderon and Schuster can quarrel for a whole season. no team can beat every other team in la liga even if they were to play their best football every week, La liga is far too strong. Half the time Cannavaro is a joke and a front line of Van Nistelrooy, Raul and Saviola is better than Villa, Silva and Mata only in the wildest of imaginations. Guti is inconsistent, and so is Robben (see Robben's performance last week vs. Deportivo). On form with our strongest 11 playing well, we should beat EVERY team in La Liga. What will probably kill us is our lack of depth and the resulting shambolic defending. I just don’t think Madrid are that good, honestly. Barca are half the team they were last season and will really struggle. if Valencia play well Barca will give them an easy six points this season. Sevilla are finished and don't even look like the side they were last season their coach will be fired very soon. atletico are not as stong as they claim and probably find it hard to do well in the champions league and La liga. Villarreal will also struggle to play well in europe and La liga. So Valencia will have a good chance of a top 4 finish they may even finish second.
