Fickle Valencia Fans… Vete Ya!

So its been a while since i posted.
I have felt a tad disapointed in this site and Valencia fans in general.
So when real life started taking up more of my time it became dificult to muster the desire to post.
Offside no longer compensates the writers if your not writing for one of the big big clubs.
So my posts will now show up when i feel there is something to say.
This is not a news site anymore.. there are plenty of those available.
This is a blog where i will post my observations and opinions.
So back to the blog.
VALENCIA’S Fickle Fans.
So over the last few weeks i may not have posted. But as many of you know i certainly have not been quiet.
On facebook posts.. other fan sites and even msn i have been in many conversations with Valencia’s fans and followers.
One thing has me a bit confused.
Why are Valencia fans so blood fickle when it comes to this team.
And especially Unai Emery.
Here i would like to defend Emery for a moment.
Unai Emery i would say is currently one of the best coaches in Spain.
I know that to many of you simply reading that will make you scoff.. but its a fact.
Lets look at the current situation.
Valencia are in third place. 2 points above rival Villareal. And a whoping 10 points from 5th place Athletic.
Valencia have 14 wins 6 draws and 4 loses. Thats only 3 more loses this whole season than first place Barca.
And that was achieved without spending 70 million + euroes this season like Barca did.
In fact we lost our top two goal scorers in Villa and Silva.
So performance wise Emery is doing a great job this season.
He has brought the team from the brink of disaster under Koeman and brought us to the top levels of Liga compitition.
Since Emery’s arrival.. we have not failed to qualify for europe.
I hear endless bla bla bla Emery vete ya.
These people are emotional idiots.
Sorry to be so harsh.. but clearly you must be an idiot to throw away a coach who is saving the club by keeping us in lucrative compititions.
Emery still has us further into the Champions League than Valencia has been in years.
Valencia is making money again.
And you wish to throw him out ? For what?
What benifit.
What would Valencia gain right now by firing Emery.
Would a different coach have us in 2nd place or 1st? No.
Would we perform better in Champions League? Unlikely.
So wtf is your beef with Emery?
Today i read a bitch fest about he makes too many changes to the lineup.
Its called Squad rotation.
Just because your not a coach and fail to understand the strategy doesnt mean it isnt effective.
And it has been as we can see by Emery’s results.
Dont get me wrong .. it annoys me too when Valencia fail to win.
Alot more than you i assure you because i am actually in a seat in Mestalla that i paid for.
But i do not blame Emery.
Emery is doing what is necessary and ordered to him by the ownership.
His orders are to get Valencia to the top flights.. and keep competing in the lucrative Champions League.
And he has followed those orders to a T.
When Valencia won the league in 2001-02 Valencia was 21-12-5 two seasons later we had 23-8-7
The difference was that Madrid and Barca had 10 and 8 loses respectivly. Worse than Valencia this season.
If Emery achieved the tally he currently had back in 2003 he too could have won la liga.
So you can bitch and whine all you want about how bad Emery is.
But at the end of the day his results do not lie. So i guess fickle fans simply dont know what your talking about.

I agree, Jonas might be our next Tino Costa, he almost scored in his first game (played only 10 minutes), scored a winner in his second and assisted the winner in his third match. That’s impressive if you ask me. AMUNT Jonas!!! -

We average about 3 comments a day. None at all yesterday, the day before our big match !! -

@Almedras well most of the commenting on daily issues have moved to the loco4losche site by kyle. That one is running like crazy and is doing the day to day business.
Javier is more like doing editorials here which is great complementory stuff really.

what i don’t understand is how it got wrong in the 2nd half?
Aduriz sucked, but he was better than Soldado. actually he is! Aduriz tried, Soldado didn’t touch the ball.. Jonas? why? Aduriz at least could get the high balls!
and taking Pablo out meant our in depth plays are gone.. totally! and we needed this, actually this what worked in the 1st half.. the plays between the 2 CBs.Emery takes pablo out and sends joaquin and mata to the wings.. (he should’ve taken joaquin cause pablo was better).
but in all, i seriously don’t know what went wrong in the 2nd half.. it was strange.. maybe that Mathieu penalty could’ve changed everything.. i’m sure it was.

starting with 4231 is a cowards plan…4231 only worked cuz we had villa, and sometimes it didnt work, playing with it means we have good midfield but no attack!
2nd thing, our team IS NOT FIT! banega hes 23 and cnt play a full game.. mathuie looks like a mummy after half time. aduriz couldnt walk properly 10 minutes before he went out! we need to be fit to play in the champions…
Soldado is useless. -
so i was watching the match yesterday and i thought the referee was shockingly biased. so many decisions their way, so many times. and the same fouls were not given for valencia. didn’t watch the whole match though, only the 1st half and the goals

Valencia playeda solid match but didnt capitalize on several chances. Its really a pity because Aduriz had some great opportunities to score and didnt.
Also the ref was blind to two clear penalties.

i dont get it maybe we gotta wait the rival to score then we do our best to score coz its not the first time when we score first we lose the match ???

We lost to the worst team in the competition. Aduriz is so so so so so so so clinical in front of goal. He would never blow 3 one on ones. Never. Sorry for the bitching; still so pissed. But this is what we get for supporting Valencia. AMUNT!

Emery strolled onto the pitch wearing his Wyatt Earp jacket but he forgot to load his guns.

Watched it at a local pub over here and to be honest we got 3 clear cut chances and didnt capitalize any of them. In my opinion we deserved to lose it because of that.
There are no presents at this stage and if you dont take your chances your just going home, just like Milan. Finishing was just way to crappy yesterday.
