Emery’s Test

Valencia visit Levante in what on paper looks like a mismatch.

Levante lie 17th in the league and are struggling to get any sort of form going.

They’ve lost 3 of their last 5 games with a draw and a home win sandwiched in between.

Valencia on the other hand have won 3 of the last 5 with 1 loss(away to Real Madrid) and a draw not counting the embarrasing copa performance to Villareal.

The game itself will probably be tight.

Valencia’s moral is low.. the last loss was crushing.

Emery seems at a loss as to how to change things.

Thats not very promising.

I still beleive that Valencia should pull a victory out of this one.

Levante are no Villareal and our individual talent should be able to get a goal or two.

• Valencia have played 8 away games with 4 wins, 3 losses and only 1 draw.

• Levante have played 8 home games with 3 wins, 4 losses and only 1 draw.

Valencia have the 3rd best away record in La Liga and I think they’ll get it done in a tight game especially given the weight of this match being a local derby.

The fire between the fans is sure to be hot as well.

Levante fans are very vocal against Valencia fans.

The match will be sold out and should be exciting to watch.

Who knows what Emery will do.

His actions are now beyond understanding.

A loss here would certainly spell the end of Emery’s career here in Valencia.

Losing to Villareal and Levante would be too much to bear i one week.

Lets wait and see what happens

  This isnt looking good. I dont think Emery made a good choice by playing Maduro-Topal in midfield. Why is Banega on the bench?

  Even an out of form Banega is better than Maduro.

  and another late win, three in a row boys. It’s good to get this wins while the team isn’t exactly playing CL candidate football. Now lets get three points from depor and maybe a Villareal draw or a loss against Sevilla and it will be a succesfull half season

  i slept at minute 63 and woke up just before the final whistle.. i didnt even wake up on the shouts for the goal..

  what does this mean? Emery cannot stay another season.
  I think Llorente has made his mind on this by the looks on his face during the match..

  PATHETIC……what we can say about it ??the important thing is the three points but to be honest i didnt see the real vcf so we are our team?? i was happy with the victory but sad with the whole situation of vcf …

  Yeah this win was deserved.. we had more chances. It wasnt very pretty but its done.
  Top 4 by any means necessary.

  i dont place alot of faith in Fifa or any football organization anymore.. its alot of politics.

  i dont think anybody could argue that Messi had a better year than Xavi or Iniesta seriously other than in goal tally.

  And if its based off goal tally then its not the best player.
