Canizares Has a New Job and Villa’s Fit

By: Cesar | April 10th, 2008

cani.jpgNot much to say today ahead of our 1-0 loss to Racing Santander on the weekend.

Yes, yes. I should stay positive. But really, why? Based on what?

Anyways, these videos were sent to me by reader Briah, who runs the wildly successful Santiago Canizares group on Yahoo.

It’s what Santi’s been doing in his free time. There so much I want to say about this commercial, like … WHAT? … Love the glasses, though …

So he’s a model now?? I really hate Koeman for getting rid of my favorite player.

For more Santi, here’s an interview he recently did with as.com where he discusses his future and the state of our club. It’s a good one.

In what passes for news at Valencia, David Villa and Vicente are fit to play next Wednesday’s Copa Del Rey final against Getafe.

Villa has been out of action for two weeks after pulling a muscle in his right calf.

Vicente has suffered a veritable injury nightmare for the past four seasons, since breaking his right ankle in a Champions League game away to Werder Bremen in October 2004.

Basically, Vicente’s been injured for 4 years.

So there.

By the way, AMUNT Getafe today against Bayern Munich … and let us have the Cup next Wednesday … please????

off topic but i would just like to say upmost respect to getafe and their fans, that was football, pure and simple.110 por cien effort from their players, proud to wear the shirt…..may i also be as bold as to say that i represent 90 por cien of the planet in never wanting to see a german win anything.

I’m with you, bob. And there just aren’t words to express Geta’s performance today. I almost punched the tv screen when Luca Toni went bobbling all over the field, hushing the crowd, after scoring the last goal. What a fucking twat (pardon). As if he had so much to be proud of. His team, #1 in Germany, with players like Klose, Podulski, Toni, Ribery - millions and millions of dollars worth of talent - managed to TIE the #12 team in Spain, who were with ten men after 7 minutes, and with one of their only star players out. And it took Bayern the entirety of 115 minutes to squeek it off. Seriously, I’ll never forgive Toni for that arrogance.

Bob, substitute Italian for German, as evidenced by Toni’s display today.

i really didnt know what i want, if Bayern win they might come to to copa del ray wanting to win smthing so tht would give them more motivation but if they won they would want to do both and give it all, but laundrup wouldnt want to risk his players for Uefa cup, so i dont know and still dont know which is better lol, all i know is that we should kick their asses up and down the field!
