sufferA petition had been sent to the Vatican to begin the process of recognizing all Valencia CF fans as saints.

Its to be expected of course seeing how much suffering we are forced to endure week in and week out.

My blood pressure is high and my finger nails are non-existant.

Valencia will surely be the death of me.

Todays Copa performance was just one more stressing moment in my life as a Valencia follower.

Once again our backups have shown why they are backups.

ESPAÑA-FÚTBOL-COPA DEL REY2-2 in Mestalla against a lower division team is simply not an acceptable result. unless your Real Madrid..;)

This Dr Jekyll and Mr hide performance really needs to end.

At first Valencia stormed the field and scored 2 goals in 15 minutes.

This is what should be expected of thistype of pairing.. but in character fashion our backups continue to allow opposing teams to get back into the game.

By the final whistle 2-2.

game1The defence looked lost. The midfield had no control of the middle either.

And in my honest opinion. Cesar has no competition for #1 keeper. That much is obvious now.

On the bright side.

Valencia have qualified for the next round of play.

And the undefeated streak continues.

Lets just assume this was another instance of Valencia playing to the level of their opponents.

Next up.

osaLos Che travel north to Pamplona to face Osasuna November 22nd.

Osasuna are currently in 10th place.

If last weeks Valencia squad show up this match should be another 3 points in the win category.

Playing in Pamplona is never an easy tast however and we should expect alot of attacking football.

The defence will have to be on and that means no Alexis in the back line.

No experimenting.

Emery is sure to play it safe for this one and we shoudl expect the best out of a team that has an excellent away record.

Villa Silva Mata and Pablo are all healthy and have in the last few weeks proven their attacking prowess.

game3Our only worry is the central midfield.

Personally a Marchena and Banega matching is ideal. The only question mark being above Banega’s head as the last couple of weeks have shown his current lack of energy.

My prediction.

Osasuna 0-1 Valencia

AMUNT VALENCIA

    @ 7amanito
I never stop conquering the world, you know that :D If only i could be a manager at Valencia…

    @ Jiwonsi
I prefer Spanish and German too, but no one can neglect the stars playing in Britain. Either way they have an awesome league. But yeah as said, im Valencianista all the way, so EPL is not an issue for me.

    @ kat & Nithin
Thats where the old British empire comes into play. As with other sports, India copies a lot from its old ruler and so the British world and its facets are well known in India, as the Spanish world plus its football are not really connected to India. But than i get to the other point of sx1…

    @ sx1
Spain is too laid-back. With such a quality liga Americans would have maid it the most profitable league on earth. But the Spanish are just not the marketing-genuises they need. Sure, Real Madrid and Barcelona know how to sell their brand but the market is not big enough. If La Liga would do everything together, meaning all teams working together, the overall quality would rise due to higher returns, plus all teams would get more coverage and thus more famous.

Difficult tho, cause of the reasons i told before, plus the language like u said, less business-minded people in Spain, etc. But now that China is getting on the world map, maaaan would it be something for La Liga to conquer them. Its like India but relatively unbiased, great opportunities there. Same in the Middle-East, but they speak english again -> EPL. I guess we’ll just have to accept it how it is, for now (until i return to Spain hehehe)…

And yeah, most shops are open till later in Spain, some 24/7 (viva el OpenCor). Spanish stay up late. But it also could be that they play so late cause of South-America, they have great followers there. But they are poorer, poorer than Asia, so again less revenues…

@lillo schols was the best creative footballer in the whole of britain.i wouldnt say he is a cheap tackler cause his game is different.but i know for sure that ferguson tells his players to play dirty.so i can say manchester as a whole is a dirty team.

valencia need to continue this form while its still hot.now we are giving more priorities to defending first and atacking second.this way defendind will come to them naturaly without thinking.

Going back to the question of playing Albelda, he struggled for pace and energy last season when he was playing regularly. In fact, by the end of the season, it seemed that he didn’t have the legs to play 90 minutes anymore.

However, he has been really good this season, even playing the whole 90 minutes on a couple of occasions and I’d put that down to the breaks he’s had in between appearances. I don’t think he has the energy to start regularly, so I’d use him only sparingly.

Well, for Arsenal’s defense, the team have found a better balanced by signing Vermealen. Even I would not have predicted such an effect in a relatively short time.

Then, Song has tremendously up-graded his level. In fact, if he were able to ave a more effective contribution in the offense (he doe at time distribute the ball à la Fabregas though), then I would gladly name him the player that has the most improved (even more than Fletcher). Song is way more indispensable for his team than Fletcher and Manchester United.

Now, Arsenal might struggle to find the net because we (or maybe only me here) have see in the past game agaisnt Sunderland, they have suffered from the absence of Van Persie. Eduardo was not the central forward type of striker and this lead to nothing.

Furthermore, the left wing was exposed because we had lost the services of both of our natural left back, and we had to rely on an occasional left back that only knows how to bombard the opponent. Effectively, his game was rubbish and make appear Malbranque as a super player!

Well, Lillo, with Arsenal, it is more a question of consistency. Defensively, you could not ask them more. Gallas and Vermealen have proven to be the most efficient defensive duo since the Flamoney’s era. As for their right back, they have one of the best player in that position topple with the fact that he can be substitute by one of the most versatile player of the modern game (nobody loves him, but I am glad to see him wearing the shirt). Finally, the let back position well, I do not need to say more on that matter.

Normally, I tend to rationalize, and I will take a bet by saying they will (not might) win. They have what it takes to do so. Defensively, Gallas, Vermealen, Song can withstand Drogba and Anelka. In the midfield, we outclass anyone. Now, offensively, Wenger needs to find the right man to do the job… It might be Walcott’s turn to shine….who knows?

The problem with the early games is also the heat or hot temps in Spain. It’s not conducive to early games. I say keep the culture and flavor as is. I just wish they would share more of the riches amongst the league with a collective or revenue sharing media model and monies for teams that get relegated. But what can you do.

The Center for Media Research has released a study by Vertical Response that shows just where many of these ‘Main Street’ players are going with their online dollars. The big winners: e-mail and social media. With only 3.8% of small business folks NOT planning on using e-mail marketing and with social media carrying the perception of being free (which they so rudely discover it is far from free) this should make some in the banner and search crowd a little wary.

Often we forget the little guy, the SMB, in our discussions of the comings and goings of the Internet marketing industry. Sure there are times like this when a report surfaces talking about their issues and concerns but, for the most part, we like to talk about big brands and how they do the Internet marketing thing well or not so well.

Here is an old rule! If you want to be really successful in affiliate marketing, you ought to drive traffic to your website. The more visitors to the website, the higher the probability of click through. Many affiliate guides forget to mention that it is always prudent to build traffic first and then consider affiliate marketing. There is no magic potion. If there is no traffic, there are no profits. Don’t worry, if you haven’t got hordes of visitors, even a few visitors will do initially. Once these visitors start trickling down the web drain, you can place banners and advertising in appropriate places to get the results. A good affiliate marketer doesn’t care about the number of clicks but on the average number of clicks per visitor.
Such techniques, slowly but surely brings success. And with it comes a potential for much higher rewards
