@ Almendras : Hahaha…I think “almost broke” is us right now, but “broke” would be a team like Leeds United
Anyway I agree with you on our 2nd team, what you said is so correct, we have to develop our 2nd team. When I look at the under-20 and under-18 Spanish squad they barely have any of our players and we really should work on that part. If we get good scouts that find these young prospects we definitely would be saving money on the long run. During the Benitez era he really concentrated on this part of the team (and he is doing the same with Liverpool right now), however Soler ruined that mentality and started buying older and developed players (which is partly why we are short on cash now).

@ Siva : To be honest I really hope Emery doesnt concentrate on the UEFA right now. We have some very important matches coming up in the coming weeks that would be crucial to get a good result in if we want to challenge for a top 4 spot. Top 4 is definitely Valencia’s priority this year and if any of our important players get injured in the tough match against Roseborg then we are definitely losing points in the coming weeks.

Hi Fayez, if this is “almost broke” I dread to think what you call `broke` we are trying to whittle down 600 million at the moment.Before anything else we must have a first class goalkeeper. Everyone here seems disastisfied with Renan. Hilde will never be a feature and everyone knows it and Guaita MUST GO BACK TO 2ndb.
Any fan of Valencia should be concerned the way they treat their 2nd team. Many years ago they were in 2ndb and Valencia took their goalie RANGEL
I saw him play many times and he was good but Valencia did not use him and watched the B team go down to the next division. They have been years trying to get back up
(It is very difficult because it is not enough to win your division you have to go into play-offs at the end) They finally did it last season. Valencia let Canizares go and took Gaita and the second team are in the relegation position. Gaita has hardly been used,he is young and needs games every week to progress and could be a good prospect for the future.We must respect the 2nd team and build it up so that we have a good training ground for our future players. This is common sense but Valencia never did have much of that.

Of course I would love to have Rafinha, but Schalke would be idiotic to let him go now, especially for a modest fee, which is the only kind of fee we could afford. They will likely keep him for a year or two, then he will be swooped by Madrid or Barca for 30 mill – that seems to be how things work.
