Hey, Some of you are beginning to sound like Koeman. Why are you throwig all this mud at Angulo. He,s been with Valencia all his life, now 14 seasons.Won Eurocup in 1995 in under 18s then another cup in 1998 under 21s. In 1999 8 goals in Liga 2 more in Copa and 2 more in European, even the season before last he scored 10 goals in these events, the same as Silva and he is not even a forward. So lets look for another chopping block eh! Baraja has scored 8 goals in the last 3 years and Vicente

An Oviedo-born player who didnt turn down Arsenal because of Valencia, no he turned it down because he was scared of London. Furthermore, the reason why i think he never left is cause no other team equaling the quality or level of Valencia ever was interested. So why leave when you can stay at the top (especially in 2000-2004)

Hey I cannot understand at all this joy that Valencia players are called up for some stupid friendly game against Chile. We´ve lost Angulo for 6 weeks, showing the importance of playing the 2nd team in lesser events.
Incidently I have seen Angulo play very very well in right defence. When you look at Van Nisteloy this week,an operation and 8 MONTHS recuperation it shows the importance of cutting down on our major players appearances. After tonight,We are now looking at November 19th Chile….22nd Seville´….27th Rosenburg….30th Betis….4th Dec. Brugges….7th Barca
Then we get 7 days break. How can any team maintain quality and results with all that pressure.7 GAMES IN 21 DAYS….Sheer madness !! Almendras

Lively action on the blog these days Cesar. Sad to hear about Angulo’s injury. Sure the man can’t play for shit but he’s the most diehard Valencia player within the last decade without question. Turned down Arsenal to stay with us a couple years ago (WTF was Arsene thinking?), and he always wears his heart on his sleeve.

Great news that Mata’s been called up to the Spain squad! About 3 or 4 months overdue, but hopefully he’ll get a few minutes in the friendly against Chile
