I’m new in this site, but i am a Valencia fan since 2004. I like Quique very much but the guy was not able to acheive trofhies. I think that Koeman is a very strange person and it’s difficult to understand him, but i think he will success with his strange experiments as he did in his former clubs.

Oh, I definitely agree: Atleti were lucky not to have conceded a goal in the second half. A draw would’ve probably been a ‘fair’ result. At the end of the day, though, Valencia didn’t take their chances better & failed to punish Atleti for falling asleep in the second half. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Atletico DID NOT deserve to win the game -a. Entirely lucky that we did not score in the 2nd half. We definitely need a quality CB to play with Timo at back, Helguera cannot do (which I’ve said even before he joined us).

Atleti deserved to win because they scored the only goal of the game, JJ & Co. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters. Valencia had a few opportunities to equalise, but didn’t.

I dont know if we played the best game in 3-4 years as Jan said(Jan, I agree with your analysis of the game and Timo’s praise though) , but certainly our second half was the best we have played this season…this loss gives me much more confidence than say the best result we had this season in away game to Schalke.

A good goalkeeper also needs a good central defender to communicate with – Helguera doesnt quite measure up to the class we need.

Atletico were lucky, big time.

Aguero kinda held back Albiol, why is it when Albiol (barely) holds back aguero atletico gets a foul?

Plus there’s doubt over whether Zigic’s shot hit the post, many claim Antonio Lopez used his hand.

Atletico didn’t deserve the 3 points, if the refs weren’t blind we could’ve escaped with a win.

Timo’s error… He deserves 70% of the blame, Helguera the other 30%. Lack of communication caused that goal.

We’re improving and hopefully we manage to reach a european place (even if Uefa cup, looking at standings we’re in deep shite if our luck doesn’t change).

We need to start with Zigic from now on..

Banega had a good game. Sent a beautiful pass to Joaquin in his second touch of the ball. Stupid lineman signal offside but it wasn’t. He’s very composed and calm. Ran a lot and hungry for ball all the time. Love it when he and Kun went after the ball. One of them fell down and the other continued dribblling. Two mighty midgets.

Well, we coceded because of Timo’s only mistake but if it weren’t for him, we would conced more than that. Except for that one blooper, he had a great game. Supersaves 3 or 4 times. I like Timo. He’s gaining confidence. Doesn’t look shaky like in the games under QQ. He’ll be great for us.

We lost but I would say it was an impressive lost. Valencia was playing football for once and damn entertaining too especially when young Banega and Zigic came on in the second half. Best 45 mins. of football from Valencia in 3-4 years I think. Dominated At.Madrid and should have scored from Zigic shot that hit the woodwork.

We want Sisi not Momo or Muntari. Puleez! Koeman is such a retard. I don’t blame Sisi one bit.

And I hope Albelda takes us to the cleaners and changes that stoopid RFEF law so he can transfer anywhere in Spain.

Young Ever has way too much pressure on him. He is supposed to be our savior similar to Pato at Milan and it ain’t going to happen. Plus I heard in the Argentine press that the kid did not want to leave his club but they needed the money for Riquelme. Pobrecito.
