I watched the match yesterday. We have quilified for semifinal of Copa del Rey, but actually we lost a match. I’m happy but it’s a shame for us that we are happy after a loss. A year ago i couldn’t emagine so. Now I know that our goal is to WIN matches, not draw or quilify thanks to away goals.
I can say Joaquin plays best of all this season, as he fights till the end and also scores often. Also good play is performed by Banega, Vicente, Villa, Zigic, Helguera. I think Silva and Hildebrand must work harder and improve to find a place in the team next season. And what about weak players, i can mension Albiol, Arizmendi and Moretti. Albiol couldnt run fast enough and Aguero scored the second goal, and the defender makes mistakes in almost all matches. I think, these 3 players must leave the first team and not Koeman. He has wan many titles both as a footballer and as a Coach, and i am sure he will find the sollution untill the next season.

lol@rory Arizmendi is a true example of sh*t when it comes to football.He cant score an open goal and he cant defend a disabled striker.
I dont think Koeman has his senses straight.Why would you bench a miguel for an Arizmendi and also,I think Angulo is more of a fighter than Arizmendi imo

Our Che played much better today. I like Banega in the middle he has some potential. I like Joaquins pace but he makes stupid decisions and horrible passes. One those guys who can really WOW you at times, both bad and good. We lost but I think if we can get that lineup in with Zigic alongside Villa we can do some damage. Oh and hell of a shot by Mata! He played with fire and hunger, I like that, something I havent seen from my beloved Che in quite some time.

On a quick side note, I tried to explain to the wife what it means to ‘Arizmendi’ something. After a solid half hour, she didn’t get it. So I showed her a few videos clips of Arizmendi playing at RB. She soon learnt

when we were down 2-0 i was on the verge of Oh no not again. Then suddenly we got back into it.. mata played very well and Joaquin was tearing up the right flank.. Banega was feeding Villa and Mata.. i like the kid. But our defence on the back was really weak.

Miguel and Caniera are good and lets leave it at that but both cam eoff and when Arizmendi cam eon i was like oh no he’s gonna arizmendi teh game for us. But he didnt get teh cahnce thank goodness.

Edu is good but he isnt quite worth pulling off a hot banega.. im still glad to have him oni teh bench though. I do like edu quite a bit. he just needs games.

i saw the second half… i think Koeman’s mistake was to replace banega with edu.. edu is a good player but he isn’t in the game still.. plus banega was feeding villa some good balls. when edu came the midfield collapsed. and juaquin was good but passed some stupid passes.. and valenica players were tired fromt he minute 65…maduro is a good player,, i like him…he is solid…still our defence lool.. what can i say,, grab a bucket of pop corn to watch the drama tht happens in our defence every match.

We go through on away goals. Villa more impressive, actually noticed him today. This is probably the best result I could have hope for. We get through to the next round in the CDR, but we lose so now there is more pressure on Koeman to be replaced.

they dont seem to have any predesigned plays. Most teams have counter attack plays .. valencia have always been a defensive counter attack football club. QQ and Koeman have transformed it into a confused form that has no direction.. and they blame teh players for that. Players need direction and tactics. If that isnt being properly trained then once on teh field there is nothing to do.

But the gaping hole on our defence isnt working either. Our defence is nearly gaurenteed to allow 8-10 shots on our goal. Thus we lose.
