Valencia Songs and EuroGeta

By: Cesar | April 11th, 2008

geta.jpgFirst off, big ups to our Copa Del Rey opponents Getafe on their spectacular run in the UEFA Cup …

What a way to go out last night. Football can be very cruel at times and last night proved that.

Two goals in three minutes knocks Getafe out of the Cup and breaks every Spanish fan’s heart. Unreal. Unbelievable.

If you don’t believe me on that, just watch this video and watch the player’s reactions after Luca Toni’s goal … it breaks your heart …

But still, a BIG round of applause for a riveting journey through the tournament. Getafe deserve all the accolades they’re receiving after their amazing run.

The Spanish minnows took it to the German giants and ultimately, fell short at the end.

I tell you, if they play like they did last night on Wednesday, we’re in trouble. More on that later …

So I need some help …

Who here knows some Valencia songs? You know, songs I can sing at the bar during the game on Wednesday?

I remember the one about Aimar and Piojo, but that doesn’t really work, especially since Aimar’s not with us anymore …

So does anyone know some good songs?

Or we could write on ourselves … hmm, ok maybe not!

Still, I ask my loyal readers:

What are some good Valencia songs I can sing for the Cup final?

i can give you the words to AMUNT VALENCIA but in valenciano, ill try to translate it
i would also like to echo what you said about getafe.that sort of night doesnt come along too often.also to their fans for getting right behind the team.its what makes football so special.

am i the only one from on here going on wednesday? its going to take all day to get there and no way of getting home after.ive gotta sit with getafe fans as well. so if we score discretion will be needed,if we score twice im gonna get a slap for sure. anawat enjoy the final wherever your watching it,win lose or draw soy valencianista hasta la muerte
    nearly forgot…koeman out….koeman out.
