Bad News

And this is why I hate international football.
Although Spain battled & won a hard-fought game against Iceland, 1-0 yesterday in the pouring Mallorcan rain, it was not without a price.
Valencia has lost striker Fernando Morientes for up to three weeks.
This means he’ll miss the entire tie against Chelsea in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

So our Valencia boys did more than ok in a tense encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Goals from Valencia strikers David Villa and Fernando Morientes (click on their names to see videos of their goals) lifted Spain past Denmark 2-1.
